Sugar Loaf State Park

Today’s hike also included a big surprise! A Solar eclipse of the sun at 9:13 AM. There were so many enthusiasts at the park this morning! But we all fit in, met at the trailhead and turned this 4-1/2 mile walk into about 5-1/2 or possibly even more! The group was really excited about taking those extra steps to ensure we could get the best views at the top of Brushy Peaks! It was breathtaking looking towards to east into Napa Valley and to the west to Kenwood and beyond. At the end of the hike, some wandered off and some of us stayed and met for lunch afterwards at a local restaurant.
